AnalytikJena's Model TL-2000 UV Translinker includes the shortwave UV CL-1000 Crosslinker and an M-20 type transilluminator built onto the crosslinker cabinet. It supplies uniform intensity overhead UV exposure of materials inside the chamber and uses midrange 302nm UV for transillumination. The shortwave ultraviolet energy bonds DNA to a medium. Ultraviolet Crosslinking for attaching nucleic acids to a membrane takes seconds as compared to oven baking.

AnalytikJena Crosslinkers offer researchers an instrument to quickly, safely and efficiently expose samples to a controlled amount of ultraviolet radiation. A unique UV sensor continually measures the UV energy and automatically adjusts to variations in UV intensity that occurs as the UV tubes age. This same UV sensor feedback measurement system allows you to set UV sample exposure, which automatically deactivates the UV sources when the set UV energy dose has been achieved.
