Choose This Model When... Your required method is closed-cup and your routine work fits within the published 230°C range Your required method is open-cup and you need higher-temperature capacity up to 400°C
Consider the Other Model When... You need open-cup testing, fire point determination, or a published range above 230°C You need Pensky-Martens closed-cup testing for broader combustible-liquid applications

Quick guidance: Choose FP-261D for routine closed-cup ASTM D93 work. Choose FP-3536D for open-cup ASTM D92 testing and higher-temperature applications up to 400°C.
