Product Description

The AnalytikJena DigiDoc-It Imaging System offers intuitive simplicity in an affordable fluorescent and colorimetric imaging system.  The DigiDoc-It Imaging System connects to your computer for acquisition and documentation of gels and plates. A high resolution 12.1 megapixel camera is controlled by AnalytikJena's exclusive image capture software.  The lightweight darkroom hood with viewport fits over a variety of transilluminators.  

DigiCam 125 Camera:

Darkroom Hood:

• Lightweight plastic hood with handles for ease of movement, easily removed from the transilluminator
• Gel Viewport is UV blocking and enables safe visualization of UV fluorescent gels

• Top cap opens for access to the camera, closes to protect camera from exposure to environmental elements
• Accomodates large filter area: up to 16.5W x 10.75D inches (40 x 26cm)

Emission Filter Options:

• Standard:  An 50mm square ethidium bromide (EtBr, Red 570-640nm) filter is included with the system.
• Add a Filter:  Also available is a SYBR Green/EGFP filter.  Option to add SYBR Green/EGFP filter for added capabilty.
• Substitute:  Call us to substitute, or add additional filters as required for other types of stains and a wide array of applications.

Transilluminator Options:

• No transilluminator:  Customer to provide transillumination system with imaging area up to 16.5W x 10.75D inches (40 x 26cm)
• The system is designed for use with UVP’s 25-watt High Performance UV Transilluminators, standard configurations include:
• Model TFM-20V High Performance UV Transilluminator (20x20cm Filter, 302nm UV, 3-step dimming)
• Model TFM-26V High Performance UV Transilluminator (21x26cm Filter, 302nm UV, 3-step dimming)
• Model TFM-30V High Performance UV Transilluminator (25x30cm Filter, 302nm UV, 3-step dimming)
• Digi Drawer: If a smaller 8-watt Benchtop UV transilluminator is preferred, it fits inside the Digi Drawer

Image Capture Software:

• Software controls the camera functions, image capture and image enhancement
• Live preview of images and enhancements
• Allows selection of user-defined and default settings and templates

• P-93W Analog Monochrome Thermal Printer - User-friendly controls are conveniently located on the front panel, making it exceptionally simple and easy to operate.  Compact and lightweight, the P-93W is equipped with a thin printing mechanism that sharply reduces the required amount of installation space.

• Mitsubishi P-95DW Monochrome Thermal Printer - Quickly document gels, films and membranes with a archive quality thermal printed image. The printer easily connects to imaging systems for low-cost prints in seconds. 

• Transilluminator Converter Plates in UV/White - Converts UV to a white light for viewing protien gels, coomassie blue stained or silver stained media.

• Transilluminator Converter Plates in UV/Blue - Converts 302nm UV to 460-470nm blue light for use with various stains including GFP stains, SYBR Green and SYPRO Orange.

   

• Transilluminator Converter Plates in UV/UV - Converts 302nm UV to 365nm UV for preparation and gel excision work.

Optional Transilluminator Accessories

• Gel-ToolKit - Combines of UVC-803 Faceshield, Gel-Cutter, Gel-Scooper, Gel-Trays, Gel-Ruler and Fluorescent Standard Step Tablet.

• Gel-Cutter - provides a 20cm edge which allows for easy cutting and removal of gel material.

• Step Tablet - Use the non-photobleaching Step Tablet as a reference indicator next to your gel on a UV Illuminator. 
  

• Gel-Scooper - The Gel-Scooper is made of strong acrylic with a beveled edge and is designed for easy transfer of gels from electrophoresis equipment to viewing equipment.
  

• Gel-Ruler - The 25cm long Gel-Ruler has centimeter markings which fluoresce under 365 and 302nm ultraviolet wavelengths, providing reference marks for DNA analysis.

•  Gel-Trays - The high-performance Gel-Tray is made with UV transmitting glass in a stainless-steel frame and is used for moving gels to the transilluminator. The tray protects the transilluminator's filter surface from scratches.
