Product Description
Use the LN2 measuring rod to clearly show the liquid level in a cryogenic dewar. The liquid level in the dewar can be determined by measuring with a dipstick. Insert the dipstick straight into the container so that it always rests on the bottom of the unit. After 5 or 10 seconds, withdraw the dipstick and wave it back and forth in the air. A frosted section will form representing the depth of liquid in the container.

Measuring rod
This "rod" is more like a flexible measuring tape. There in no way anyone could use this to measure liquid nitrogen. Seller Response; Thank you for the review, and sorry you are not entirely happy with the product. Yes, it is flexible, but it will straighten out for use. Product design is unchanged (except branding) since original Taylor-Wharton patent in 1980. That said, please contact us for a return authorization and refund if you don't find it satisfactory.
