Luxo Weighted Base for LED Magnifiers

is a very popular mounting solution for a stable, portable platform for Luxo LED bench magnifiers when an edge clamp, a fixed location screw down base, or through-the-table mount is impractical or undesirable. Designed for the rapid reconfiguration of workstations and workbenches, the base supports quick, tool-less, and simple repositioning of Luxo KFM, LFM and Wave magnifiers. The round footprint distributes load to resist tipping during arm articulation, helping maintain optical alignment and consistent operator ergonomics. Preserves the Luxo K-arm geometry so reach and balance feel identical to clamp or screw mounted setup.

Compatible ONLY with select 30 inch (762 mm) arm models.  Not available for ESD versions.

Choose the 41 lb base for KFM and Wave magnifiers, or the 21 lb version for the lighter LFM Magnifiers.  Available in light gray, black, or the white to match existing fixtures.

• Which Luxo magnifiers will this base support? It is intended for approved 30 in K-arm models such as Wave LED, KFM LED, LFM LED G2 (excluding ESD.)  Verify your arm length and model before ordering.
• Why isn’t the weighted base recommended for 45 in arms? Longer arms create higher overturning moments; for 45 inch arms, use only table clamps or through-table  or screw down mounts for safety and rigidity.
• How do I install the magnifier onto the base? Insert the arm post into the base  and firmly press into the bushing mounted in the base.
• Can I move the base between benches easily? Yes, though heavy, the portable design supports quick reconfiguration without tools; remove magnifier from the bushing mounted in the base, then lift and reposition as needed, carefully keeping fingers clear when setting it down.
