Product Description

The Model FT-IR510-8 a manual 15 ton hydraulic press specifically designed for laboratory preparation of solid samples, and is ideal for pressing potassium bromide (KBr) discs used in FTIR analysis.  Operation is very simple; close the oil valve, pump the handle to move oil from the reservoir through a one-way valve into the piston. When adequate pressure/energy is accumulated, then release the piston by opening the oil-drain valve.
