    Product Description

    This Scilogex PT1000 is a platinum temperature sensor with connector for MS-H-Pro-Plus , MS7-H550-Pro, MS7-H550-S, HP550-S & MS-H280-Pro hotplate stirrers. 

    Resistance tolerances: Class A = ±(0.15 + 0.0020 * | t |)°C (As specified in DIN/IEC751:2008)

    The Callendar-Van Dusen equations for PT1000 Sensors:  

    The relationship between resistance (R) and temperature (t) of PT1000 platinum resistance thermometers is: 

    From -200°C to 0°C:  R(t) = R(0)[1 + A * t + B * t^2 + (t − 100)C * t^3]

    From 0°C to 661°C:  R(t) = R(0)(1 + A * t + B * t^2)

    (The coefficient A, B and C are temperature dependent and can be determined using TC calibration methods.)

    These equations are the basis for international standards  DIN EN60751 temperature/resistance tables for platinum resistance thermometers  (IEC751). For a more accurate relationship, the ITS-90 is used.
