Product Description
TS280S Touch Screen UV Radiometer With Online Monitoring
is a modular UV irradiance meter with process observation and extended test measurement capability from 200nm (deep UV) to 480nm (blue) Light Measurement and dose measurement platform for quality control, process validation, lamp maintenance, and production troubleshooting. Designed around a full touch screen host and interchangeable probe system, the TS280S helps measure UV intensity, accumulated UV energy dose, temperature, and real-time monitoring data across a wide range of UV and blue-light applications. Choose the host model that matches your workflow, then select the probe wavelength for your lamp or LED source, including 222 nm far-UVC, 254 nm germicidal UVC, 275 nm UVC LED, UVB, UVA, UVA LED, full-spectrum UV, and 450 nm blue light. For teams comparing a fixed single-band UV meter, a general-purpose radiometer, or an online monitoring instrument, the TS280 Series offers a flexible host-plus-probe approach that can support multiple test scenarios with one instrument platform.

FAQs
Which TS280 model should I choose?
Choose the TS280 for routine General Mode measurements, TS280S when you need uniformity testing, TS280E when you need online monitoring, and TS280MAX when you want General, Uniformity, and Online modes in one host.
Can one TS280 host work with more than one probe?
Yes. The TS280 Series is designed as a host-plus-probe system. The same host can be used with different wavelength probes, but the instrument should be turned off before changing probes and restarted after the new probe is installed.
What probe should I use for 254 nm germicidal UVC lamps?
For 254 nm germicidal UVC lamps, select the E254 probe. It covers 230–280 nm and has a 254 nm peak response, making it the correct choice for many low-pressure mercury germicidal lamp applications.
What probe should I use for UV LED curing systems?
For 395 nm UVA LED curing and printing systems, select the E395 probe. For 275 nm UVC LED sterilization sources, select the E275 probe. Match the probe wavelength range and peak response to the LED source being measured.
Does the TS280 Series store and export test data?
Yes. The instrument can save 30 sets of test data, and stored data can be read through PC software and exported to generate reports.
How often should the TS280 Series be calibrated?
The recommended calibration cycle is one year to help maintain measurement accuracy and confidence in UV process checks.
What is the re-calibration process?
- Each TS280 model has a built-in calibration function, so calibration can be completed directly on the device interface. UV meters may be returned for NIST-traceable recalibration. Please contact us before shipping your instrument so we can issue an RMA number and provide return instructions. After receipt, we will confirm service requirements and provide a quotation for approval. Customer is responsible for recalibration charges, inbound shipping, and return shipping. Lead times vary by model and lab availability.
Warranty
The TS280 Series package includes a warranty card and LabgearUSA support for product selection, ordering, and after-sale assistance. For service questions, probe selection help, or documentation requests, contact LabgearUSA before attempting repairs or disassembly.
Ordering
Select the TS280 host model first, then choose the probe that matches your lamp or LED wavelength. For most buyers, the standard TS280 model is ideal. But for many customers the TS280S is the ideal choice; where varied applications may require surface uniformity evaluation, along with the correct wavelength probe (or a selection of probes), this would be ideal. If you are unsure which probe to choose, contact LabgearUSA with the lamp type, wavelength, equipment model, and measurement goal before ordering.
- Step 1: Choose TS280, TS280S, TS280E, or TS280MAX host configuration.
- Step 2: Choose the wavelength probe that matches your light source.
- Step 3: Add optional PC monitoring software or custom cable extension if required.
- Step 4: Add to Cart or request a quotation for multi-probe configurations.
