The XT / XTL Series (Extended Time) cryogenic refrigerators are designed for long-term storage of a variety of materials at cryogenic temperature.  This series also includes low profile models (XTL), with 5” canisters, and substitution of 5" canisters in larger units.  

Features

• Rugged construction, ribbed high strength aluminum body, magniformed neck tube design and durable paint,
• Narrow neck design gives low evaporation rate and long holding times, for reduced running costs,
• Versatile storage system – convenient canister index locating ring and tapered internal spider,
• Supplied complete with canisters and necktube core, 
• Option available to substitute the 5" (38 x 127 mm) canistors, replacing the standard 11” (38 x 279 mm) canisters on XT10, XT20, XT21 and XT34 units.
• XTL3 and XTL8 versions feature a lower profile for more convenient transport and storage. For use with storage of straws only,
• Samples (1.2 or 2.0ml vials) are held on canes stored in canisters. Straws can be stored in goblets in canisters,
• Roller bases are available for some models,
• Superior vacuum performance with superior insulation provides maximum holding times,
• Lockable lids,
• Three-year warranty on vacuum,
