MRC Impeller No. 1
is a Rushton-type six-blade disc turbine that produces strong radial flow and localized turbulence for gas dispersion, liquid-liquid blending, powder incorporation, and other high-shear mixing applications. Available in 50, 65, 75, and 85 mm (1.97, 2.56, 2.95, and 3.35 in.) diameters.

Consider the vessel diameter, working volume, liquid viscosity and density, required circulation, available motor torque, rotational speed, and acceptable shear. Increasing impeller diameter can substantially increase power and torque demand, so compatibility with the overhead stirrer should be confirmed before ordering.
Is this the best impeller for shear-sensitive samples?
