Product Description
MRC Stainless Steel Overhead Stirrer Shafts
are designed to transmit rotational force from a compatible overhead stirrer to a selected mixing impeller. Available in four diameter-and-length configurations, these straight shafts support laboratory and small-scale mixing setups with different vessel depths, chuck capacities, and impeller requirements.
Applications
Overhead Stirrer Mixing
Designed for use between a compatible overhead-stirrer drive and an appropriately matched impeller in laboratory blending, dissolving, homogenizing, suspension, dispersion, and process-development workflows.
Laboratory and Pilot-Scale Setups
Suitable for research, quality-control, formulation-development, production-support, and small-scale processing applications using compatible MRC or equivalent overhead-stirrer equipment.
Features
- 304 stainless steel construction for general laboratory durability, corrosion resistance, and cleanability.
- Multiple lengths support different vessel depths and impeller immersion positions.
- 10 mm diameter option provides a larger shaft cross-section for compatible equipment and mixing setups.
- Straight shaft design is intended to transmit rotational force from an overhead-stirrer drive to a compatible impeller.

FAQs
How should I choose the shaft length?
Select a length that allows the impeller to reach the required operating position while leaving enough shaft above the vessel for secure chuck engagement and safe clearance. Consider vessel height, liquid level, cover thickness, stand adjustment, and impeller immersion depth.
How should I choose between an 8 and 10 mm shaft?
Choose the diameter that matches the overhead-stirrer chuck, coupling, and impeller connection. Do not assume the 10 mm version is interchangeable with equipment designed only for an 8 mm shaft.
Warranty
The MRC Stainless Steel Overhead Stirrer Shaft is warranted against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service. For warranty assistance, replacement parts, product support, or application guidance, contact LabGear USA technical support. Warranty valid for 12 months.
