Brand Filter Pipette Tips

Product Description

Brand's filter pipette tips are produced in Wertheim, Germany in a cleanroom environment to ensure consistently high quality.  Available either as non-sterile or with Brand's BIO-CERT® certified sterile, both in packaging of either TipRefill racked tips or TipBox plastic boxes, with tip volumes ranging from 0.1µL to 1000µL. 

Features

• Environmentally friendly manufacturing using only high-purity polypropylene, free from oleamide and diHEMDA, eliminating additives which can interfere with biological tests, for quality, reproducible results,
• Highly polished and strictly maintained tooling allows tips to be manufactured without lubricants, 
• Any coloration (blue and yellow tips) is produced with cadmium-free pigments,
• Molded graduations provide a quick volume check,
• Free from DNA, RNase, ATP, and endotoxins,
• Autoclavable at 121°C (2bar), in accordance with DIN EN 285. For autoclaving the TipStack, remove the adhesive tape before autoclaving.
• Available in convenient, low-waste, environmentally-friendly packaging: Choose from bulk, TipBox/TipRefill systems, or space saving TipStack™ nesting inserts. Racks, refills and stacks are available non-sterile, or BIO-CERT® sterile (5 mL and 10 mL tips not available in BIO-CERT®).
• Boxes have transparent lids for easy visual inspection of contents,
• Dual function hinged and push-on lid rotates 180° to change closure method,
• The rimless TipBox/TipRefill tray border enables problem-free loading of individual pipette tips with multichannel instruments, making it usable with a partially loaded multichannel pipette,
• Colored TipBox/TipRefill have side panel labeling for easy identification,
• The TipBox/TipRefill tray is fabricated from especially rigid polypropylene to eliminate deflection during tip loading,
• The clamping mechanism holds the tip-tray securely in the box for opening and closing with one hand.

• Certified sterile BIO-CERT® tips are sterile according to ISO 11137 and the AAMI guidelines; a SAL of 10-6 is obtained.
• Autoclave at 121°C at 2bar, in accordance with DIN EN 285. Remove the adhesive tape before autoclaving in TipStack packaging.
• Packaging Options:
• TipRefill is a package of refill racks which fit in TipBox,
• TipBox is a case of PP boxes with lids, which holds 8 x 12 rack of pipette tips (96 tips/box),   

There are three different collar sizes, designed to fit pipettes using 20µL/ultramicro/crystal, 200-300µL/”yellow” and 1,000µL/”blue” tips:

• Tips with ultra-micro collars have gray carrier plates and are 0.1-1µL, 0.5-10µL and 1-20µL.
• Tips with 200-300µL collars have yellow carrier plates, and are 2-20µL, 5-100µL and 5-200µL.
• The 50-1,000µL filter tips fit 1,000µL collars and have blue carrier plates. 
• Brand sub-micro (0.1-1µL) pipettes using nano-cap tips can only use the 0.1-1µL filter tip.
